Can Stretch Marks Affect A Lower Back Tattoo?

I have been considering getting a tattoo for about 3 years. I want green flowing leaves across my lower back that curve and dip in toward a peach rose in the center of the design. The peach rose is a nod toward my husband and our wedding day since we had peach roses. This will be my first and only tattoo.
